Rev Fr. I. Paul Antony Memorial Trust
Glory and Praise to the ALMIGHTY !
Dear Friends,
It gives me immense pleasure to meet you all through this letter especially on this Remembrance Day of our dear Rev.Fr. I. Paul Antony. Days, Months and Years have passed by but not our Love and Respect to this Reverend Man, whom we all admire at.
The tides of Life have taken each one of us at various directions ever since we left our incubators, called Seminary. Since then we keep fighting every one’s life battle day in and day out with whatever resources that are at our disposal. But the amazing truth is, we know that we are bound by a Common and mutual Love towards each other which was inculcated in us by our dear Fr. Paul Antony.
Yes, we are all scattered. Hardly meet, talk or even communicate to each other, but the question here is …..Should we continue the same way all through our lives …..??? Don’t we feel deep inside of us that we all are missing something in our lives..? That togetherness, that confidence, that social, moral and religious responsibilities about which once we all were taught, guided and motivated by our dear Father Paul Antony…!!
We all once had a Common Dream ! We all were once determined to achieve that dream together..! But have not or could not accomplish that due to the obvious reasons that each of us are aware of. However, I don’t think any of us have lost that craving, that intuition, the instinct and the determination to revive our Dreams and make them come true at least in some form or the other.
We were taught to hold on to our Dreams, we were trained to hold each other’s hands together, we were guided to be tough at times of our trials, we were molded in to something that no one today can deny of. Fr. Paul Antony led us from front with his disciplined looks and a smiling face together with the able and vibrant support of our dear Father JP.
Here we are today joined together to remember Fr. Paul Antony. As the famous Chinese saying goes… “All the great marches began with a small step”, let’s start together today, let’s put our heads together to revive our Dreams. There can be no better Tribute to Rev.Fr. Paul Antony than bringing back this TRUST to life and start our works.
I am glad and proud to be a part of this Trust. I am available to extend my full support to the plans and goals that will be set forth by the Trust Members and it’s Board.
At this wonderful occasion, Friends please allow me to share my thoughts on our TRUST formation :
This Institution is called in English as “TRUST”, because the people who come together to form such an Institution should in first place have Trust in each other;
Let us pledge our support whole heartedly to run this Trust in an exemplary manner meeting all the Governmental regulations;
Let us set a valuable & ethical code of conduct;
Let us set forth only small and realizable Goals to our Trust;
Let there be periodical meetings, at least once in 3 months or 6 months to review the activities and plan for the future activities;
Let us start documenting every activity of the Trust and let is be communicated to all the Trust member;
Let every one of us have equal responsibility on a rotation basis depending on their geographical area;
Let the monetary contribution be left to every one’s choice, but made regular; should you all feel that a minimum periodical contribution be made mandatory, please take every body’s consent and fix it;
Let the activities and accounting be properly recorded and be open for every member of the Trust;
Let us host a ‘Website’ in our Trust’s name, which will enable us to reach people globally;
In such a case, I suggest that the name that we choose for the Trust has to be meaningful, reflecting the teachings of Rev.Fr. Paul Antony;
Friends, I know how joyful it would be when we get together. I really miss this opportunity very much to be with you all. I wish the celebration a great success !
I wish all the Family members and the Kids a wonderful time !!
